Many vintage clubs have a cutoff of 1972 for formula cars. What vintage
organization would you run with? Do you know or can you find out what
its eligibility rules are? Also, I think it is generally difficult to run a
car
of any type competitively in both SCCA and vintage.

Anybody out there racing an FF in vintage? I'm starting research for
an eventual (probably two years out) purchase, and am trying to understand
what can be run where. My ideal car would be reasonable to run
both in SCCA club ford as well as some vintage events. The Lola T-340
has caught my eye (sexy car!) but I can imagine that it's considered
"too new" by many vintage organizations, since it was built in the 70s.
