Subject: Philippine Historic Racing Results
The recently concluded first leg of the Philippine Historic Racing was
held at the Batangas Racing Circuit in Rosario, Batangas, The
Philippines last March 16, 1997.
The track conditions were perfect for an afternoon of historic racing
Philippine style with 10 vintage cars at the grid.
The winners of their respective classes were the following:
Up to 1300cc Marc Ablaza (1956 VW Oval)
1301-1600cc Monchito Hermoso
(1960 MGA)
1601-2200cc Ricky Caguiat (MGB)
Over 2201cc Lito Ignacio (Shelby
Mustang GT350)
The next race is scheduled for 27 April 1997 at the Subic
International Raceway in Zambales, Philippines.
