I have recently treated myself to the purchase of two excellent books on
racing in the golden era of the 50's and 60's.
1. "Sterling Moss, Racing With the Maestro"", by Karl Ludwigsen. A
wonderful collection of photos of Moss' career with excellent text and much
new information including a new theory of the 1962 crash.
2. "Jenks", a collection of essays by the late Denis Jenkinson, continental
correspondent for Motorsport, including the classic account of the epic
Moss drive in the 1955 Mile Miglia.
Both of these books are fairly reasonably priced and have joined the list
of treasures on my automobile book shelf.
