Hi Mark,

I'm using a local brand of semi-synthetic 75/90 and have had no problems. I
used to run 80/90 but I have found this a bit thick on a cold winters day
which makes changing gear more difficult (i.e. end up double clutching
until the oil warms up and the synchos work!!).

The 75/90 is a bit thinner and works better with the gear changes. I also
noticed the overdrive engauges slightly faster, but I'm not sure if this
was due to the oil or the fact I finally got around to cleaning the
overdrive filters!!

Hope this is helpful.

Cheers
Bernard
