Bill---What are you after in regards to improving the handling on your
TR? What compromises are you willing to accept in trading 'ride' for
control?

It's very difficult to just add one or two items to the TR6 and
transform it. If you just want to try the shock upgrade, I'd go with the
adjustable Koni's up front, and add STP to the rear levers. Mix an ounce
with the oil that comes with the levers, for a start. If you like the
difference this makes, you might later try such upgrades as:

Urethane bushings, front and rear--

A rear anti-sway bar to compliment the front--

Springs that are approx. 25% stiffer--
(Semi-comp.)

About one deg. f negative camber, both front and rear--

Low(er) profile tires, --205X70's with an "H" rating are popular--

Some owners may include tube shocks for the rear--

A few of the above will cause you to lose some of the boulevard ride,
but it will transform your car by bringing it up to maybe the
'eighties'.

None are difficult to install, can be fun,
and not all that expensive.
