Peter---I'm not real sure about whether the mount has to come out when
the A-type OD is connected, but my guess (and I don't like to do that)
is that it does not. As you know, the mount is different when an OD is
attached.  Still, if you are going to take the tranny out thru the
passenger side door, I wouldn't think the mounting bracket that is under
this piece needs to be removed. Others who have an OD tranny may tell
you otherwise.
