Right at the base of the grill on my 76 TR6, there's a black strip that sits
directly on top of the painted surface that then goes down behind the
bumper. With me so far? (In my Moss catalog, if you're so inclined, it looks
like Part # 854-205, a "finisher, front valance, black")
That black strip catches and holds water under it whenever it rains, or I
wash the car, etc. Rusty water pours out from there as I dry the car.
Obviously I need to replace the thing. But what are listers doing if
anything to keep that area from holding water?
