I sent my TR6 rocker arm assembly to Rocker Arm Specialist for rebuilding,
so I thought I would report my results to the list(s).

I inquired via email about cost and got a prompt (same day) response and
quote of 98.00 + return shipping costs. I packaged up my complete rocker
arm assembly and UPSed it to them on Thursday, May 24. The rebuilt assembly
was on my doorstep (via UPS) on May 31. Of course I live in the same state
(CA) as them so, your turn-around time might be longer if you live farther
away. Nontheless, I was impressed with the quick service. As to the
quality of the rebuild, my initial inspection shows that the rocker arm
shaft was either replaced or has been reconditioned (no signs of wear). The
individual arms have been rebushed with what looks to be bronze bushings.
All wear surfaces have been dressed/cleaned up and the whole assembly looks
to have been thoroughly cleaned. All in all, I am very satisfied
(especially since the cost was very reasonable).
Final cost $104.38 (98.00 + 6.38 shipping)
