As a fairly new owner of a 74 TR6 (June 2001)I known of your excitement. I
would start by ordering parts catalogs from the major suppliers:
Victoria British WWW.victoriabritish.com
TRF www.the-roadster-factory.com
Moss Motors www.mossmotors.com
BPNW www.bpnorthwest.com

Then search the internet for info. Here are a few good links:
VTR www.vtr.org
Triumph Ring www.mit.edu/people/zimmerman/tr6.html
Minnesota Triumphs www.clubs.hemmings.com/mntriumphs
Buckeye Triumphs www.buckeyetriumphs.org

To answer your question directly regarding which car you have, the serial
numbers CF 12501U to CF27000 are 74's and CF27001 to CF35000 are 74 1/2's.

Stay tuned to this list for lots of good info.

Which exhaust system do you think is the best in terms
of performance, looks, and sound. I think performance
is the top item on my list, then sound and looks
follow pretty close after. I think the TR6 engine will
sound good with almost any exhaust on it, although
some will be better than others. I was looking at the
Monza exhaust, but I read a comment that it really
wasn't that great. Any suggestions? Also, how do I
determine if my '74 TR6 is a '74 or a '74 and 1/2?
Thanks ahead of time...
