I'm getting ready to order parts for the front end rebuild and have a
question regarding the spring choices. 2 Years ago, to aid a dragging rear
end, I replaced the rear springs with a set from the TR Shop. These are a
420 lbs/in set that are color coded red-green-red and have a free height of
11". I'm now trying to decide which front end set to select and need to know
the ride height of these RGR springs. Looking at the Moss book, they don't
reference this RGR although both their 420 lb/in sets have a height of 8.65
in. or lowered 0.16". A guy at Rimmer Bros. said he thought these RGR were
lowered 1" and recommends their 1" lowered for the front. If my RGR were the
same as those at Moss, Moss would direct me to a front set that was 420lb/in
and lowered only 0.25". Can anyone help me on my RGR or help to confirm the
free height of the 420 lbs/in springs from Moss?
