You can tell if it's original if it has the AMCO logo painted in white on
the rear zippered window at the bottom left hand side(behind driver). I
don't have an original but I saw it on a TR-6 a few months ago.

    Folks:

    Apparently ACME wants an ORIGINAL TR6 top as a pattern. In exchange, you
will get a brand new top. The hitch is that your top must be an ORIGINAL,
OEM top.

    Anybody interested? Contact Karl Neiswender at AABESTCO;

Thanks Vance, but as you can see the top was not original.
Thanks anyway, Karl

Karl,

 I'm sorry to say that it isn't original (a little miscommunication), but it
should have the correct snap locations and zip out rear window. It's a
pinpoint grain pattern at least that's what I remember it as being called
and no reflective strips. If you think a top frame would help you, I've got
a used one, but I want IT back. Sure a car would do better.
  I'd be glad to help out if any of this can work for you, we'll talk more.

Richard
