On my frame off I've used never seize on just about everything on the car as I
hate rusty bolts. A few exceptions being any nylock nuts or drive shaft bolt
etc. You know it will probably be coming apart again at some time in the (
very distant ,I hope) future.

I to had a terrible time trying to get the windshield frame off. It was a
good thing I was doing a full restoration. Car was stripped
The only way I could get the bracket free from the shield frame shaft was
heat, a lot of heat. (Red hot heat) I was very close to cutting it off. It
had completely bonded together.
This thing will be going back together with a lot of NEVERSIEZE.
