Well put Mitch.
One other point: I love my 6 but have felt it is a bit under powered at 106
hp. I have not driven a 150 (or 125) hp PI but feel this is what the
original designers were going for yet emissions constraints left us holding
the bag. I hope to modify the engine to strive for about 150 hp - many on
the list have and reported that their cars came alive.
As enthusiasts we all have our own goals - some strive for originality,
some love the satisfaction of doing the restoration, some just love to
drive. We should respect each others goals.
