Terry---Unless you've taken the original wiper switch apart and found it
totally beyond repair, don't give up on it. It's been too long ago to
remember just what I found when the knob turned on its shaft and
"nothing happened", but I do remember it was fixable. I vaguely recall
doing something to refurbish the key inside. Tho kind of hard to twist
the knob off and on now, it does work.
