Al:

Christian worship music in a Triumph?

It'd be pretty hard to fit a temperance hall drum in the back of an LBC.

Brings to mind old images of ancient battleaxes in black dresses singing The
Battle Hymn of The Republic. Just imagine a sprightly LBC trapped in that
scene. All the joyfullness of a wet collie in the rain... :^)

However I suppose it could be done.

Ahem, Hmmm, me me me me..
(Sung to the music of the Battle Hymn, accompanied by a big drum)

Mine eyes have seen the engine oil leaking down the drain (thump)
The squeaking of my front brakes is giving me a pain. (thump)
The differential's clunking and the layshaft's gone again (thump)
But still she's driving on. (thump thump)

Glory Glory Hallelujah!
Glory Glory Hallelujah!
Glory Glory Hallelujah!
But still she's driving on. (thump thump)

Shudder... No Al that just ain't on.

I'm with Jim Swarthout, Bach is the fastest driving music going. I used to
blast in on the radio of my motorcycle and the old throttle handle would
just begin to twist... In traffic Bach will make you a wild man.

Cheers,

Mark

Listers,

I'm really surprised that I haven't seen more classical selections from
our age grouping. My wife and I often listen to "Phantom of the Opera",
the "Three Tenors" and just to mix it up a little, Roy Orbison's greatest
hits! I seem to drive a little faster when listening to Roy for some
reason!

Al Graffam CT. 74 French Blue

PS I'm also waiting to read if some of us listen to contemporary
Christian worship music . . . any takers?
