Here's another update from another TR8 driver's laptop in the
same (i think) motel as Dave's:

There REALLY are A LOT of Triumphs here - i mean they're EVERYWHERE
in large numbers.
For instance - there was 1 Italia in the Hill Climb paddock and on the way
out, i drove past 3 more Italias casually parked next to each other - among
countless other Triumphs filling every available spot near the Hill Climb and

Gymkhana.
Delays and chaos are everywhere also - but nobody is complaining (much).
Did i mention ther are A LOT of Triumphs here ?

The Vern Brannon Hill Climb was a blast - much faster than i expected -
with hay bale chicanes much tighter than i expected.

Then it rained - A LOT - made it to the drag strip just as it started to rain
there - it never stopped - so no drags - except for a lucky few who were
there ahead of us - several topped 100mph.

to bed now - autocross first thing in the AM

Cheers
Jack Mc
