Hi Gene,
You can use a standard cap screw, with a little ingenuity & a grinding 
wheel you can duplicate the look of the original rivet. Use a non 
hardened bolt ( More malleable ) of the proper diameter & long enough to 
have a smooth area under the head. Grind away till the shape is acceptable.
