Folks:
Someone was asking about the vacuum retard on a 73 distributor
in the last few days. It was commented that these items have usually
died by now, and that they are hard to find.
Well, "Triumphs Only" has one for the 73-76 TR6 up for auction,
with a buy it now price of $175. It will be interesting to see how high
it goes. Considering that the earlier vacuum retard is available for
$40, and that you can hacksaw off the adjuster so that it will fit just
fine in the 73-76 cars, I wonder if they will get anything close to
their buy it now price.
