Does the radio have an antenna trim screw somewhere? That can make a
tremendous difference in reception. Also, make sure the antenna is in good
shape and the mounting nut is providing a good ground.

Hi Gang,

I've found an original AMFM mono radio for my '75. It works perfectly, which
means ya can hardly hear it. Has anyone out there got any recommendations
about how to amplify this relic so I can get enough volume to actually hear
it? I was expecting lame performance, but not this lame.

Thanks

Colin '75
