I wouldn't use a "glue" that would come from a tube, but rather use the
3M body molding adhesive, foam tape. I don't have the proper name or 3M
item number, but it has a red plastic backing that is pulled off. The
glues will have solvents that might penetrate the lacquer or whatever is
used to protect the silver coating. Maybe some good silicone adhesive
will work too.
