I'm currently running a set of Pirrelli P400 tires in 185-70-13 on the
stock steel wheels on my Tiger.
The fit is fine with no rubbing and they look ok. The only handling
difference I can tell from the old 
AR78-13 tires that I just replaced is better traction. The steering is
just as heavy as it has always been.
