Rob,
I had an argument with a fellow over 25 years ago about my Minx.  He insisted 
it had a "sheetmetal" engine block.  I showed him the iron block, and he 
insisted it was a replacement, which it was not.  A few years later I learned 
about the Crosley Car and the soldered sheetmetal blocks they originally had 
from the factory, later replaced with iron blocks.  Sometimes it is best to not 
try to reeducate the "authorities".
