First, on the way to work today, I saw a light purple/lavender Series 1 or
2 with white factory hardtop on a car transport going north on the 101
towards Ventura. It looked really cool, full of lots of life. I hope it's
not on its way to some dump!
Second, in the past I have posted about one of Ole's Sunbeam Talbot Alpines
for sale (the green one in the process of restoration). I now understand
that his widow Joan has decided to sell his other one too. This one is
fully operational, in light metallic blue and sporting a Volvo engine and
transmission that Ole transplanted himself. The car actually had a
Corvette V8 in there when he got it. I believe someone on this list had
looked at the green one and asked her if the blue one was for sale. At
that time, I guess, it was not. So, now's your chance.
