Just curious but what should the maximum comfortable operating temperature
be for the Alpine's engine. I've become so accustomed to cars with gauges
that only have blue, red & neutral sections, it looks a bit scary when you
actually know how hot things are getting.

With "spirited" driving mine gets up to a whisker under 100 C - on the old
scale I guess that would be 215 F or so?
