Al,
        If you use the 0.70" bore size MC, you won't really need the brake
booster. Otherwise, if you use the larger cylinder MC, you need more leg
strength.
Don't freak out for heaven sake! If you have to pump the brake pedal to
get a solid pedal, it's probably NOT the MC. You still have air in the
lines and/or the rear shoes are not fully adjusted (new shoes need to be
set up really, really tight).
Don't resleeve the MC, there is no need to do that!!! I would call Rick
about the MC problems and talk about options. All you really need is a
MC rebuild kit with the correct parts (maybe $10), bleed the lines and
adjust the rear brakes and enjoy!
