Dual Brake Systems

A couple of questions.
1)  Does anyone have the diameters of the stock Alpine MC's handy?  I lost
mine.

2)  If a person uses a dual MC setup with bore the same as stock, wouldn't
the effective MC piston area be doubled?  After all, there are two pistons
running separately in one bore.  Just wondering.
