My '69 Alpine GT's had overflow systems and had the two way radiator caps...
unfortunately I do not remember if they had the tall neck.

Hey, when you're "old" you have to expect these sort of things!!!

I haven't been able to find the correct radiator cap to allow a proper
'full recovery' overflow tank to work on a S3-V Alpine. S1 & 2 may be
different due to the x-flow radiator.

You need the seal around the outer rim of the cap, plus the 'long reach'
cap, plus the 7-9lb pressure. Not an easy combination.

Has anyone found such a beast? If so part # & supplier would be most
appreciated.

BTW - You can have a 'short reach' neck put on when rebuilding the
radiator, which might help availability. (I found this out after having
my rad recored, with long neck)

Cheers,
Paul.
