I currently have a 1973 Hillman Avenger DL (ex Plymouth Cricket), just sold my
1959 Hillman Minx Series III DeLuxe sedan and am buying a 1962 Hillman Minx
Series IIIC Convertible. Things have slowed down now that my wife said only 2
Rootes cars at a time (I have had up to 7 at one time). Some Rootes cars I
have owned were:

1951 Hillman Minx Mark IV: black w/red interior
1951 Hillman Minx Mark IV: tan w/red interior
1969 Sunbeam Alpine GT: green with green interior (owned it twice)
1969 Sunbeam Alpine GT: Claret metallic with black interior
1969 Sunbeam Arrow (bought new- $1,749)
1960 Hillman Minx Series IIIA Deluxe: tan and white with red interior
1960 Hillman Minx Series IIIA DeLuxe: light blue and dark blue with blue
interior
1960 Hillman Minx Series IIIA Special with Easidrive
1959 Hillman Minx Series III Convertible: moonstone with blue interior
1959 Hillman Minx Series III Convertible: red with red interior
1958 Sunbeam Rapier Series II Convertible (with overdrive)
1961 Singer Gazelle Series IIIA Convertible
1958 Hillman Husky Series I
1962 Hillman Husky Series II
1949 Hillman Minx Phase II Convertible
1960 Sunbeam Alpine Series I
1953 Sunbeam Talbot Mk IIa Convertible
1953 Sunbeam (Talbot) Alpine Mk I (bought for $250 in 1963)
1959 Hillman Minx Series III Special
1965 Hillman Super Minx station wagon
1952 Singer Roadster 4A (not truly a Rootesmobile $35 in 1962)
and many, many more.....

Never owned a Humber or an Imp. I lived in Queens, NY not far from Rootes Long
Island City facility for many, many years and started with Hillmans in 1955.

How many people on this list own other Rootes cars than Alpine Convertibles?
I myself have;

65,66,67 Sunbeam Alpine's
(4) 1969 Sunbeam Alpine Coupes
1959 Hillman Estate
1960 Hillman Husky
1363 Hillman Super Minx
1966 Sunbeam Minx
its been a while since I've looked at this but maybe there is a reason for
being tired! have to take more vitamins. (no Viagra).
Forgot would you take a look at this car and tell me what you think its
worth? http://www.geocities.com/samuelstovall/hillman.html
