A few days ago I responded to a question regarding rear shocks for a Series
IV/V Alpine... I said that if the Alpine used the same rear shocks as the
Hillman (stud on each end) then '68 Mustang shocks will work. I got home and
checked my manuals and found that the Alpine uses a different shock then the
Hillman so the '68 Mustang shock, will NOT work. Sorry.
Hillman sedan (not wagons) owners do have the interesting option of using '68
Mustang rear shocks and even Gabriel adjustable air shocks.
