There are so many issues to using another piston.
You need to have the bores pretty close to our own, or at least within .050 or
else the head gasket
The pins installed height is pretty important and has to match up with the
available donor rods little end as well as setting the pistons installed height
for optimum compression and squish.
I didnt mess with trying to make some other application work, it seemed a whole
lot more cost effective
having pistons made to fit a ready made con rod.
Custom pistons dont cost much more than OEM pistons if you know how to specify
them and know ho
to order them.
My custom J&E pistons cost about $350 for 5.
