I'm considering getting a formula car this year, and I'd like some input
from anybody familiar with F500s. I understand that the KBS is considered
the car to have for club racing. Are there any other makes that are
competitive in SoloII? What are the differences between the Mk5, 7 and 8?
I looked at an F440 one time, and it had the driven clutch mounted in the
middle of a jackshaft (between the bearings); it looked like you had to
take the car half apart just to change the drive belt. Is this a common
feature of these cars? TIA.
