I was at the National Tour in Texas also. I gave up local points to go to a
big National event. I think my 500 mile drive one way is worth something. I
also plan to attend the Tour in Evansville Indiana. I would have went to the
Meridian event
if my new car had been ready. I think that if one is willing to make the
financial
sacrifice to go, there should be a National Tour points system. For me running
the big National style events is the quickest way to get good at the "game".
