Actually Mike, Channel 4 contacted me this morning and are coming out to
cover the event this Sunday. Sometimes it takes a harsh word to make things
work. For all of the non racing coverage here in Kansas City, they sure
won't know what to do when the BIG track opens up here next year. Only time
I have every seen coverage of the Nascar Winston Cup or the IRL is when
either there is a big crash or someone has to get killed. Like what happened
in Charlotte. The impression that they give out in coverage like this is
that it is a really dangerous sport and shouldn't be encouraged.
Let your babies grow up to be FOOTBALL players or BASEBALL players and such.
