Hey folks,
I've got a question. Is a Street Touring type class being created to
appeal to the pony car crowd, as well? I see and read about all this
ST stuff: one version for street tires, one for race tires, one for
unlimited motors, etc. (Jeez!) Yet, I haven't seen anything on a
class for cars other than the small displacement, mostly FWD ones in
ST. In fact, it seems ST is getting more concessions than other
classes who don't have street tire versions and such. (This is my
understanding, please correct me if I'm wrong)
Yes, I guess I've got somewhat of a beef with it. :-\ I see
accommodations being made (seeming left and right) for the import
crowd, but nothing for the pony car crowd (yes, even though letters
were mailed and calls made). The pony car guys have been discussing
this for some time, but it always got shot down. Now it's being
(been?) implemented for a different class.
Anyhoo, I just thought I'd ask about it... If it's simply a matter of
the pony car crowd not showing the support needed to get this done, I
could accept that. I'd doubt it, but I'd accept it. :-)
