The best 0-60 time from a magazine test for the 2.5L Boxster was 6.0
seconds. Most magazines usually get 0-60 of about 6.1-6.5 seconds. No one
has tested the new 2.7L 2000 standard model yet, but it should be a few
tenths faster than a 2.5L. I've driven both and the 2.7L has much better
torque. However, they changed the final drive ratio for MY2000 so it has a
lower overall ratio(ie., higher speeds in each gear) for 1st & 2nd gears so
this will negate some of the power increase.
