Was just reading my October Fastrack and was wondering if someone could help
me out. Under the August Minutes it says- MOTION: To approve Solo Events
Items 1-5 in Appendix A. PASSED. However, in Appendix A, at the bottom of
Item 1 (lowering minimum passenger age to 8), it has PASSED crossed through
and Withdrawn added. So, is this motion passed or withdrawn? If withdrawn,
can it be re-proposed, and if so, how?
Also,
I noticed that 13.3.H was eliminated. This seems fine for Stock, but I hope
someone is considering an additional rule for STS. As it stands now, STS
allows ANY wheel up to 7.5" width that fits over stock brakes and any
non-excluded 225 width tire with a tread rating of 140+. I can see it now -
custom wheels on my Neon that give me a track of about 80" and a trunkful of
wheel bearings so I can replace them after each run!
