This Sunday, Oct. 15, Salina Region does its annual OCTOBERFAST!
And to Salina Region members -- ENTRY IS FREE! (see below)
This one is Octoberfast 11, the annual event by Dave & Jo Richards,
guaranteed to be a pedal-masher for CP cars and anyone else who wants to
turn their ponies loose.
The course is more or less the same every year, yet always a tad different
because they can never precisely remember where the put it the year before.
And that's kinda intentional. It isn't the "Lone Star" course, but certainly
is a cousin to it.
East Crawford Recreation Area -- what someone recently called "the best
concrete in Kansas."
Registration around 10 am, FCO 11ish.
About that free entry -- as an appreciation to our members, entry to this
event is free to:
1. All Region-of-Record members of Salina Region
2. All Associate members of Salina Region.
3. Any SCCA member of another Region who pays Salina Region dues at the
event (which will be valid thru the end of 2001 -- get a $15 event for $10
in dues; or he & she run for a $15 family membership).
4. Any non-member who becomes a member of SCCA and Salina Region at the
event, paying full regular membership ($55) or Speed Freakz membership
($25 - age 25 & under).
Otherwise, it's the regular $15 entry fee.
