Anybody know FOR SURE the wheel width of the 2001 Miata 16 wheels?
The brochure doesn't say.
Edmunds, Kelly Blue Book, etc. info is not credible due to the other errors
in their info!
The wheels are not marked on the outside like previous ones. However, rough
comparing of external measurements implies 6.5 or 7. Visually and using
external measurements, compared to 15's which are 6, the 16's are wider but
the bead area style is different enough to make this also not credible.
Just curious in case I get tired of a car that was faster than more than
about 1000 others at Nationals:-).
Or, much more likely, figure out how to have a really neat sports car AND a
really fast autocross car!
