Woody's right, but when did they move the M3 out of ESP???
I thought the M3 line of progression was
AS
ESP
SM
FP 3 Series including M 2200 lbs 16x10" wheels
(6-cyl 24 valve E36) too bad It's almost impossible to fit M3 brakes under
16" wheels
and
EM
And in it's different incarnations it will do quite well in many of it's
classes

Without checking the rules, I think only the '95 M3 (3.0 liters) is eligible
for SM. The '96+ M3s have 3.2 liters.
