Just about finished ski racing season (looks like my daughter is heading to
the Junior Olympics at Jackson!). First local solo event is April 8 so I
better get the Blizzaks off and something else on.
My questions:
1. My RS comes with 16X7 wheels, but I thought some 15 X 7 or 15 X 7.5
would be lighter and lower my effective gear ratio. Is this a good idea or
bad idea? Any recommendations on lighter rims with the correct offset for
the Impreza RS?
2. As this will be my first "semi-serious" year of autocrossing (in STS),
anyone have reservations about Kumho Ecsta 712s? What size (205/50/15 - 5%
shorter? 205/50/16 - 2.4% shorter? 225/40/16 - 5% shorter? 225/50/16 -
same)??
3. Does an Impreza RS (2001) have a rev limiter?
