Penninsula Subaru hosted a WRX challenge at the Tour which brought 7 WRX's
out of the woodwork in GS (one of the larger classes with 17 entries!).
Unfortunately, they had dry runs both days (Heat 5) and the Integra Type -R's
ran away and hid from the WRX crowd. As predicted, the Impreza 2.5RS proved
to be faster than the WRX's (torque curve and spring rates baby!).
It was all good fun and the WRX's were all quite close in times with one
earning the last trophy spot (5th place) in a tie with one of the Integra
Type-R's.
