Entry forms go out in Thursday's mail for Mirror Khana XXIX.
This is Salina Region's annual no-clocks, head-to-head Solo II -- two cars
at a time facing off in a double elimination bracket. It's as close to
racing another live car as you can get without going wheel to wheel.
It is not Pro Solo -- both cars are on the same full-loop course, one
halfway around from the other. First one back to his own start wins the
pairing. Gotta lose twice to be out of the running.
The event this year is Sept. 27-28. The Spring dates were not working any
more, so we are trying fall, post-Nationals. Saturday is practice runs,
Sunday is competition. Brookville Chicken dinner Saturday night.
All rulebook classes including Jr. Karts, plus our own STO (Street Touring
Other -- our run what ya brung Street Tire class).
If you ran Mirror Khana the past couple of years, you should get the
mailing. Stacks of forms also were sent to the regional solo chairs of
nearby Regions.
