Anybody know whether 315x30 tires will fit on an 18x10.5 rim?

The tires on there right now are 295x35 and they fit just fine, but they do
stick out just a little bit past the sides of the rim. These are the factory
OEM tires. 295x35x18 is a hard size to find. 315x30x18 is the closest size I
can find that has a similar overall diameter (3% smaller).

Theoretically, 10.5" is 267mm, right? Is there a standard ratio to use as a
guideline for how much wider the tire can be than the rim? For example, in this
case the OEM tires measure 10% wider than the rim and the 315s would be 18%
wider.
