I went to watch at Laguna Seca today.
A short, bumpy, 9 corner course saw Mark Daddio dominate the two elimination
rounds and the final with consistant runs in the 35's whilst the other 19
drivers ran in the 36's/37's. Marks best was a 35.589 secs. The only other
driver
in the 35's (I could be wrong here :-) was G.J. Dixon with a 35.951. Final
Three - Mark Daddio, Michael King, G. J. Dixon.
After 22,000 competitors it came down to Mark Daddio. Quite an
accomplishment.
