This weekends The Tire Rack SCCA Solo National Tour event has been moved
from Arizona Motorsports Park to Firebird International Raceway. The
last-minute change in locations is due to a local ordinance passed this
morning that will not permit any events to be held at the Arizona
Motorsports Park effective immediately.
Firebird International Raceway is located at 20000 South Maricopa Rd,
Chandler, AZ 85226. Direcetions and a list of local accommodations can be
found at www.firebirdraceway.com.
With the change in location to Firebird International Raceway, the
possibility exists that this will become a Saturday only event. Sunday's
course, which would utilize part of the road course, is presently being
reviewed by a Safety Steward.
SCCA.com will be updated with more information as it becomes available.
