In 1944 Mary Chase wrote a great play, "Harvey", that was later made into a film staring Jimmy Stewart in the lead role of Elwood P. Doud. The play contains the wonderful line in which Elwood says, " ...you know, when I was young, I discovered you had to either be smart or pleasant. I tried smart. I recommend pleasant". If anyone is down around turn five this Sat or Sun, look me up. Tony |
