        I believe in around 1980 or so, we had around 80 entries. The actual
number of champions were:
1984, 16; 1983, 15; 1987 & 1981, 14; 1986, 13; 1992 & 1989, 11; 1993,
10; and 1991 & 1992, 9. These facts are from Rocky Entriken's Record
Book which does not list individual year's numbers from individual
regions. As a point of pride: no other region has ever pulled in so many
wins, not even a division can match SFR's record. :-)
