Well, the couch is a '97 Englander, which is well-known for premature
cushion failure and lack of stain resistance.  The cushions are from a
'99 La-Z-Boy, which is the parent company of Englander (and, in fact,
the original cushions were just relabelled La-Z-Boys), so the
update/backdate provisions hold.
