I have flat towed spitfires all over, most of the time dropping the DS. Howe=
ver, I flat towed my herald to Chicago and back w/o doing so. No problems. A=
gentle from Michigan used to tow his spitfire all over the country to the V=
TR meets and he was the one that told me not to bother. He never had a prob=
lem. Of course both of us had replaced the ujoints or knew their condition=20=
