| Has anyone encountered rust on the inside of the gas tank?
I recently discovered my fuel line clogged. Tracking it back I found
that the fuel sending unit was clogged with rust particles. After
removing the gas tank I discovered a thin layer of rust on the upper
half of the tank.
        1. Is there any way to clean it?
        2. Is a replacement tank and sending unit still available?
I appreciate any help.....
                        Thanks---- hank wolinski (balto., md.)
